Overdue Update

Wow, been almost a year since any new posts.

I started this blog while I was still working alone on this project. But since then, it has made some progress.

There are two translators currently working on the dialogue. And the project has a new home on the Romhacking Aerie. Please visit the site for future updates.

I don't have any new pictures or files to release, but I am working on getting some extra content that may be of interest to people interested in Kyuuyaku Megami Tensei or the series in general.

Thanks for all of your encouragement and support, it is greatly appreciated. Don't worry, we won't give up on this game. :)

Don't give up! You are awesome. I would like to help with the translation, and maybe I could, but my knowledge of japanese is still at the level of a second-grader. Not to talk of the fact that I'm not a native english speaker, so I'm quite dubious of the quality of the sentences I'd be able to produce. Anyway, good luck, and don't get discouraged. We all love you!

I'll also echo my gratitude for this project! The early MegaTen games definitely need more love amongst Western fans, and it's wonderful that you're working on it.

Keep it up, and don't get disheartened!

I'm working on Last Bible Special for Game Gear which I should be done with in a month or so and stumbled across your page looking for info on Megami Tensei II. I've wanted to play the first two Megaten games for ages now, they look so much more interesting than the later games so I'm very excited for this!

Last comment from http://www.youtube.com/user/ddstranslation:

The project is still alive, just waiting for all translation work to be completed. I'd estimate 50% of it is done now. There is a lot of text to work with.

Iit's been way too long for these games. Not pointing fingers at this project specifically but I don't see why megaten 1 and 2 haven't been finished yet when we've had FF translations for 10 years now. demiforce & dejap where are you whn I need you! :(

ddstranslation,

You should check up on your thread at Romhacking.net. On page 5, Djinn and I compiled the beastiary for both games (correct romanization and kanji).

Hope this encourages you to keep working on the translation! :)

Can you believe it, SMTIV is out and it's 3D and portable. They could never have imagined this in 2009, it's like a distant memory of a bygone time.
